Lesley-Ann Brandt was born Cape Town, South Africa on 2 December 1981. Model and actress who is well-known for her roles in television and in films. Brandt was a model and actress who started her acting career in New Zealand's Diplomatic Immunity sitcom she made her American debut on the stage with the character of Naevia in the historical show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has been featured on a variety of TV series over the last decade. This includes Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Since the year 2016 Brandt has played the character as Mazikeen in the urban fantasy series Lucifer with Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born in Cape Town in South Africa. She moved to Auckland, New Zealand with her family when she was in her twenties. The path she took to her career started as a model in print and commercial ads. Her rise to stardom as a supermodel began when she was working in retail and information technology recruiting. Her first starring role in 2009 in the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played the character as Leilani Fa'auigaese. in 2021, her first major role came in the role of Naevia the slave in Starz's Spartacus Blood and Sand. The actress has also reprised her character of Naevia for the prequel miniseries Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. She co-starred alongside actor Craig Parker in three different TV shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). She also began to portray an enigmatic bounty hunter called Mazikeen in the Netflix show Lucifer. The most prominent role she has is in this role. In the show, she is paired together with Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
